Does ActiveNote run smoothly with Windows XP or Windows Vista?
The development of ActiveNote has been stopped by 2001, so it's only optimized for Windows 2000.

Until now, ActiveNote worked without any problems. But now, there is no more caret (cursor) visible. What to do now? I use Windows 2000 or I installed a new Version of MS Office.
ActiveNote 4.0 is working also on your system without problems.
I put ten OLE-objects into my note. Is it correct, that the note's size is now more then 2MB?
I'm sorry, but that's correct. OLE-object, which can be inserted into notes since version 3.5, are a beautiful thing, but they need much space - in memory and on disk. Try not to embedd the objects but to link them.
If NoteMap is running, my system cannot shutdown.
Use the current Version of NOTEMAP.
If I shut down my system and some notes stayed open, I get a message like "XYZ is already opened", when I logged on the next time. What to do?
You have to download the current version of ActiveNote, to eliminate the bug in the Note-Management.
My "SmallNote" doesn't stay on top, I have to deactivate and reactive the option to make it work.

If you resize the Note to the right, you'll see that the toolbar is next to the other.

Either, you use the current Version of ActiveNote to send the notes directly via TCP/IP, or you use the program NOTEMAP. Look at "Readme.RTF", chapter 7

Nothing. It's an bug. Use the version 3.2 to eliminate it.
I like my note to be displayed after starting Windows. What have I to do?
You have to create an shortcut to the note (not to NoteIt.Exe) in your startup-folder, or you have to save your note in the folder C:\WINDOWS\STARTMENU\PROGRAMS\STARTUP.
If you are using Version 3.2 or above, all notes you'd opened while shuting down will be opened next time, you log on.
Although I have finished the "Config"-Dialog with "OK", the note appears with the old settings, the next time I've started NoteIt. How can I change that?
This seems to be a bug in Version 2.5. Use Version 3.2.
